nice spot just north of chesterfield station can be seen of either platform looking towards sheffield, prefer it on here as there seems to be professionals only on the platforms. ideal for photos either direction 10 mins walk maximum from chesterfield station, limited parking tho side of road so first come etc ok to leave vehicles tho, always spotters on here theres a fast food outlet appropiately called the snap cabbin roughly 100 yds down the road open everyday 8-3, 10 mins walk back into town centre plenty of eating houses chippys pubs etc. to find by car exit chesterfield station directly infront of you is the chesterfield hotel turn right then the next right signposted A61 staveley follow the road roughly 1/2 mile you will pass the snap cabbin on your left hand side the footbridge is straight infront of you on the right hand side, by foot exit chesterfield station take 1st right into crow lane roughly 100yds theres a river bridge cross it follow the road to the left this will bring you out onto the main road keep bearing right the bridge is 3-400yds infront of you no toilet facilities but plenty of places golf course side hope this helps
