Main traffic 800s travelling to Exeter/Plymouth and beyond, 165s, 387s, 57s (Penzance night train only), about 10 freights per day (mainly class 59) and occasional railtour. Also used as divert if main GWR line closed. Very limited free parking (esp during week) but plenty of pay parking. Nearest free parking in side roads off Andover Road, 5-7 mins walk. You can park free for 2 hours in Sainsbury's opposite. Town centre also v close for your 5 a day (Scotch egg, sausage roll, bag of quavers, can of fanta, wagon wheel). To view all traffic from car, park in a store called Mole(behind Sainsburys). Not a patch on Reading for rail traffic and if coming to the area from afar, Reading or Didcot is the far better bet.
