Overview.

Two platform station on the LTS line between Dagenham Dock and Purfleet.

Passenger trains. c2c class 357's.

Freight. Freights to/from Purfleet, Tilbury and Thameshaven pass through. This means 57's, 66's, 86's, 90's. I'd suggest consulting Freightmaster.

Local facilities.

A big Tesco nearby and an okay looking pub were noted when heading through Rainham village. The station car park is quite small, I parked up and watched the trains from my car! Easily accessed by road from the M25, use the A13 then the A1306. Using a Tom Tom, Rainham station doesn't exist! Follow the Tom Tom will take you to Rainham station in Kent.

Conclusion.

Barking probably offers more, but quite handy for a quick stopby to see an 86/6.
