With good sweeping bends, not a bad place for pics.
If you do come by car, the car park on the South Oxhey side is very limited and fills early. On the Carpenders Park side, on street parking is the order of the day. All is free.
No loos on the station, the nearest being in the Esso/Tesco petrol station, but has got a little cafe. For more choice of food, a short walk on the South Oxhey side gives you 3 cafes, 2 supermarkets, newsagents etc.
Being on the WCML and London Overground network you should see, 313, 508, 321, 350, 390 units, 57, 59, 60, 66, 86,90,92 locos.
