Located just outside Oxford the line heads north to Banbury and beyond. Virgin X country Voyagers and Super Voyagers are frequent, as are Class 66's hauling freight. First Great Western Link DMU's also use this line. Best location for sightings is a car park at Thrupp on the Oxford Canal. Binoculars are advisable. All traffic must eventually pass through Oxford Staion.

Now that the trees are coming into leaf this location has limited vision and will have throughtout the summer months. No facilities are available. Its just a peaceful free car park by the canal and railway line.
