Used this new station for first time yesterday. As it is new there is plenty of parking at £2 for the day. Same price as the Park & Ride next door. Most important you need to remember your car reg as you need to put it in the ticket machine at the station entrance but the good thing is you do not need to put the ticket back in the car. There are no machines in the car park itself and at this time no signs telling you what to do. All ANPR technology. The platforms are very long and exposed with little shelter also there is no ticket office as it is all done by machine although there were at least some humans to help those less understanding of modern technology. There is also of course an expensive coffee/food shop. The station itself is just off the A34 and the Park and Ride bus service into Oxford is right next to it. I will use it from now on as to go to Marylebone from Bicester North you pay £7 to park. These trains will eventually go into Oxford itself and you will then have a choice of either FGW Oxford to Paddington or Chiltern Oxford to Marylebone. I know which one I will use. Incidentally the £2 car park fee is the same as the P&R car park so it will be interesting to see if CR try to increase the fees by some devious method as you can park in either if you wanted to.
