Quorn and Woodhouse is on the Great Central Railway. The line is double-tracked. On Gala days classes 10, 20, 25, 31, 37, 44, 47, 101 and Steam can be seen.
The station has a simple two track layout and a siding used for freight trains and stabling locos.
