02/05/2007 by James Stoker (aka. The Yellow Bus Spotter, Salad Dodger, 2 Young 2 Care and Jimbo 2007)

Stockton on Tees has a unmaned station with two platforms, a simple afair with a foot bridge and plenty of vantage points! Traffic includes, Northern Units, EWS & Freightliner freight, and a DRS Working 4Z43/43 usually running WO. This could be anything from a 37 to a 66 and a 20 has also run on this working!

A bridge outside of the station offers a veiw of TJ Thomson's Scrap Yard where locomotives are stored and scrapped, on site today are a few 08s lots of industrials and a 37, 31 & 47. Although this does often change, and new things can arrive (or just come into veiw after being moved arround the yard) overnight.

A train of SSA's & POA's sixty hauled runs into the works sidings on Tuesdays, and some Freightliner 47's are expected to be delivered by rail sometime soon!

Near the station is a SUPERB sandwich bar serving the bast all day breakfast sarnie! THE SALAD DODGER AGREES THIS IS A BEASTIE OF A SANDWICH.
