This is a delightful station on the ECML. Very busy on the main line with Natex, Hull and Grand Central trains. East Midlands Trains provide classes 153,156 and 158 on services to/from Liverpool and Skegness. There is very little freight. Station facilities include a cafe and coffee shop. There are nearby shops and supermarkets. Photography is excellent from both the north and south ends of the station.
