The sea wall between dawlish and dawlish warren is a superb location (and one of the most photographed). There are many places. If you come out of dawlish warren station, follow the line on the Sea side. There is a bridge here with views to the station in one direction and towards dawlish the other way.

Continue along the see wall towards dawlish after about 100 yards there is a small hill with extremely long views towards dawlish and beyond. Be very careful here as the path to the top is steep and can be slippery.

From here you can be very close to the action as follow the sea wall along towards dawlish. There is another bridge near dawlish station which can provide very good views. The same applies to the station.

You can continue along the sea wall to the nearby tunnel.There are several bridges between dawlish warren and dawlish. There is also a footpath immediately above the tunnel at dawlish

As for amenities, you will find a lot of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in dawlish and dawlish warren open year round. Be warned though, the sea wall can be very exposed in winter months which regularly plays havoc with the Voyager Fleet.
