This is a nice example of a preserved railway which covers 16 miles plus a new extension to Heywood. There are a good number of preserved deisel locos here from many classes.
Ian Riley Eng also has a shed at the Bury end of the line.
All the facilities that you would expect are here and deisels run on most Saturdays , but they hold several deisel galas throughout the year. Worth a visit !
