One of my locals,a footbridge over the MML just south of Duffield Station.
A quiet location by a church used by friendly locals generally dog walking with car parking on Church Drive.
Trains from Derby make a good shot with the curve but trains from Duffield Station & Chesterfield whip under the road bridge.
There's a pub the Bridge Inn,a couple of minutes walk away & Duffield Station & shops are about 10 minutes walk.
Traction is varied 60's on the Washwood Heath - Peak Forest lime & Walsall - Peak Forest Cement.EMT 153 & 156 on the Nottingham - Matlock,EWS 66's on the Wolverhampton - Doncaster steel & Southampton - Wakefield intermodal.Freightliner 66's on coal & Leeds - Southampton liners,Advenza 57's on the scrap trains to from Cardiff,Meridians,Voyagers & HST's on the XC & EMT services.
