There is a snack bar on platform 3. Cross road outside station, turn right and the Park Cafe about 100 metres away serves a great home cooked meal at very good prices. One drawback for the station is that there is only one toilet at the southern end of platform 3.
Likely to see 142, 143, 150, 153, 158's from Exeter & Bristol, FGW HST's and XC Voyagers.
Summer weekends sometimes see "foreign" HST's and "Top & Tail" specials, as well as the steam "Torbay Express" on Sundays.
There is very little freight into the West country, sometimes see 1 or 2 in the evening.
