A lot of the depot can be seen from both ends of the station platform,however you turn right on to the station forecourt and then sharp right between the atation and the Royal Mail depot on to a footpath.At the end turn right on to a raod bridge and where good views of the station and the depot can be made.However contiune down this raod a bit further and turn into a Travis Perkins yard [ open to the public ] and the far sidings can be seen behind the TP building.This is normally were the sandite/de-icing units are kept.The station buffet is downstairs and sells hot and cold food but closes early evening.The town centre is only minutes away, together with car parking.Toilets are on the station.Units fron classes 411,421,423,365,375,930 and 931 can be seen.
