There are several yards here. South of the station are Nene Sidings which are almost exclusively used by WAGN emu's, usually in the evenings/weekends. Also stables Anglia DMU's between turns. Clear views from adjacent Crescent Bridge.
North of the station is Spital Bridge, north of that is Westwood Yard. Mostly EWS traffic on departmental trains.
The next bridge is Westwood Bridge and that is where New England Yards are situated. Very busy with EWS and GBRF traffic. Normally two 08's in attendance.
