A short walk from the town centre (plenty of parking and places to find food). Colwyn Bay has two through platfoms with fairly good views in both directions giving enough warning of approaching trains. Lots of DMU's and the last of the virgin 47's, freight consists of the Penmeanmawr ballasts and DRS traffic to and from Valley. If timed right a couple of hours can be rewarding but the station can get very cold as the wind blows straight through the platforms!!
