This excellent site is owned by Serco Railtest but managed by Alstom. You can see new and refurbished trains being tested on the privately owned Melton - Nottingham line.
The site can be reached off the A606 Nottingham-Melton road.
Take the Edwalton turn, just north of the A46 roundabout and turn first left into the yard of the Pullman Inn. Continue straight ahead into the Alstom viewing site where there is plenty of free car parking plus a raised viewing area.
