Although Saltley is long since gone, I notice there are still locos which park up in this area ready for use in and around the local Freightliner terminal.

I have noticed in The Railway Magazine that Saltley depot as closed all because of EWS, it was a good location for photo's another depot baits the dust.........will BESCOT be next then WILLESDEN I Hope not

weekday afternoons is now the best time to go to Saltley (it's been a few years since much was seen of a weekend).
