Great intermediate and terminus station for Northern Rail and DRS locos. In a day you could find Pacers, Sprinters, Super Sprinters, 20s, 33s and 37s. You can get some great photos of engines coming out of Bransty tunnel, northbound through the station, and lots of the usual DMU in the bay platform idling in the sun. Free car parking outside or in Tesco nextdoor. If you want more good photos, then from above the tunnel portal is great! There's toilets in the station, and Tesco has a café.
