The main station to look at is the DLR one . DLR units in multiples of 2s and 3s are very frequent. There is also an excellent view of the 357 EMUs passing on the C2C ex-LTS lines.
They are not hitting speed so photo opportunities are good.
There is also another station across the road on the London Overground line from Highbury & Islington to West Croydon & Crystal Palace where the 378/1s run.This line is not great for photos as it's partly underground.
I wasn't looking for food but there is a local grocery shop between the stations for choccy bars etc.
