Chaddesden Sidings (Chad Sidings) is the home of the Fastline Coal Fleet in Derby.It's located on Chequers Road just off the A52.The link below should take you to the quarry entrance,beware that as the road carries on to the right it becomes a BUS LANE.

You can also legally follow the Public Footpath which starts at the link below to the other end of the yard which offers some good shots of Locos ready to depart the yard.It's not a good idea to go in your Sunday best reminiscent of Toton Bank after a bit of rain.

Chequers Road is an industrial area and there is plenty of parking at all the locations.

It is usually very busy in the area when Derby County have home games due to the free parking & can also be busy at the town end on Sunday Morning due to a car boot being held at the Cattle Market which is next to the start of the Public Footpath mentioned above.
