Not a bad place. There are no shops etc at the station, but a short walk gets you to a large Tesco's
The car parking is £4.50 for the day, but on my visit (3 hours) I saw no one checking the car park. Viewing is poss from the car park of all lines, so if you need a fag then you will not miss anything.
Platform side, platform 4 seams to be good, with reasonable views south and north for pics, but there is a lot of metalwork, so you would have to pick the spot.
Regular stuff for the WCML, 321, 350, 390 units, 57, 67, 66, 86, 90, 92 locos, and with the works close to hand there could be something special.
