Not sure I'd spot at Wimbledon with Clapham Junction two stops up the line!

You do though see the District Line, Tramlink and Thameslink(FCC)as well as the aforementioned SWT trains. I disagree with the point about photography on all platforms - only the London end is any good as the country end has the overshadow of the passenger bridge and is very busy by the steps. There are cafes on platforms 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 and shops on the bridge part. Nice pasties.

Good place to see SWT trains and the depot is near by.
Wimbledon can be reached from London Waterloo and from further south, using SWT services,a fish and chip shop is on the station,all platforms are good for photography.
