From Bristol Temple Meads Station turn left out of the approach road and first left into Cattle Market Road, this turns into Feeder Road, Take the signposted right turn into Short Street. The main St Philips Marsh entrance is just prior to the bridge, however continue under the bridge and left into Albert Road, this will take you along side the depot, turn left into the KFC drive in for food and better parking. At the end of Albert Road turn left for Bristol Barton Hill, taking the first left after you cross the Lawrence Hill Line

Barton Hill is a brilliant place to go for now because if you need 37077, 37678, and there are two more which I can't remember, 56xxx X6, there are 3 there at the moment, (26/04/2004) they are all going to Spain,They are at Barton Hill to be repainted. There are currently no class 67's there anymore. You will see the odd 08 and 09, and 47, 66.
My dad knows one of the bosses who work there called Mike Goodfield. He will be taking my dad and I around the depot and cab ride on an 08!!!

When you go to the main entrance you get what you can get through the fence and then walk past the traffic lights and walk past the sign that says no authorised person beyond this point. and you get to the bridge, get what you can from the bridge with the main line running underneath.
