An excellent location for loco's in action. This is a former level crossing to the north of the city on the Peterborough-Spalding-Lincoln-Doncaster line. Vehicular access from the north [ Glinton-Peakirk road ] only. From the south park at Hodgson Centre car park which is a quarter of a mile away. Very little regular loco hauled traffic but plenty of DMU'S. Occasional use for diverted ECML traffic so you never know what's coming next.

Excellent photographic location with clear views in both directions.
