This diminutive depot is location to the north east of Peterborough station, just beyond Spital Bridge. Opened in 1965 as a single-road 08 servicing shed it quickly outgrew its original purpose. Extra sidings were laid at the side of and through the shed so that a large area can be used for loco.storage

Now operated by EWS there are typically 3-4 locos. on at any time during the week. However this changes at the weekend when there may be up to 15, best seen on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Please note this can also vary, and there may be nothing at all.

Can be seen from adjacent ECML and Leicester- Peterborough line. Excellent photography from Spital Bridge, walking time 5 minutes from the station along footpath through the car park which also has very good views of the station area.
