Located on the ECML between Peterborough and Grantham, this is an ideal location to watch trains close up and in action.
There is a concrete factory adjacent to the level crossing [on the A16 Stamford - Market Deeping Road ] which has a daily trip working at 10.30 from Whitemoor yard.
A large footbridge gives excellent views north and south.
A footpath to the east of the former goods yard - still in use- runs parallel to the main line and then crosses the branch into the concrete works. Unobstructed views of passing trains here.
There is a pub, garage and shop nearby.
