Where ever you live this is easy to find. Come off at jcn 9 of the M5 and follow the signs to the stn. when you get to the stn make yourself at home. NOTE: there are no toilet facilities on the stn. If you go on platform two you will see the M.O.D line to the army camp. If you would like to see 86101 and 47295 inside the army camp follow these directions CAREFULLY!!
Come out of the stn car park and turn left at the roundabout, then left again at the traffic lights. Go over the railway bridge and be careful at this bit, turn in on the second left after the bridge at S.T Nicolas Church, Park up in the car park. Make sure you lock your car!!!! Walk through the grave yard past the main entrance of the church. Follow the path and you come to the railway line. Feel free to walk up the track towards the Army Camp until you get to the gate, As long as you don't take pictures of the camp then you will be all right. 86101 47295 might not be clear to see but it is worth looking.

If you want a clear picture of a 60,66,20,37 e.t.c then go to Natton. turn LEFT out of the junction from Ashchurch station, over the bridge and IMMIDIETLY turn left. Follow the road DO NOT turn left where a sign post says Natton because you will go to the village!!!! Go straight on down the road and when you come to the end turn left and park at the gates and look for a spot for either a video or a good photograph.

The nearest chippie from the stn is if you come out of the car park and turn right at the roundabout and go over the Ashchurch to Malvern railway bridge and go over the next roundabout , you then go past a footbridge that says on the side "CUSHTY" turn left and left again and the chippy is on the right.

Enjoy your chips!!!
SORRY IF THIS DESCRIPTION IS TOO LONG!!!!!

I will start from Ashchurch stn.
There are a number of ways to get to Eckington but I will do the easiest way to get there.

Turn right at the stn, go over the bridge and over the roundabout follow the road until you come to Hardwicke Bank road. Turn right and right again into Grange road. turn left to the crossing. Go over the crossing until you come to the T junction. Turn left at the T junction and follow the road around the bendy bit. Keep going.
On the left is the railway, when you come to the Y junction turn left and follow the signs to Eckington. Turn right at another Y junction and follow the road round past the lay by. On the left again should be the railway line running parrallel with the road.
There are a number of crossings they are the ideal places to go for spotting and photting. You are welcome to go to the farmers crossings as long as you don't go onto their property and don't block the crossing entrance. Or you will get a little bit of telling off!!!
In Eckington Village there is a newsagents to buy refreshments at really low prices lower than any other places you might go to.
If you then follow the road and on the left in the distance is Eckington bridge if you want to go there for a lovely photo on a lovely clear sunny day then this is the place to be. Park up in the fishing car park and make sure you lock your car up. Walk over the road and follow the footpath. You will then get to the bridge make sure you have your cameras with you because it is worth it.
That is everything in Eckington that I can think of anyway. I hope you go.
