Good for London Midland and Chiltern DMU's, typically 2 london midland 172s an hour terminate here and 1 continues to stratford, providing a 3 hourly LM service to Birmingham. 2 chiltern workings each way per hour, of which only 1 an hour each way stops, 1 non-stopping crosscountry voyager an hour in each direction. A fairly open station with great photo opportunities of movements going south. Usually an On track machine parked in the sidings by the level crossing a few hundred meters up the line. The odd freighter too, mainly ex Lawley Street, but little in the way of variety. Brilliant chippy less than 2 minutes away from the station and plenty of other shops nearby such as a tesco, sainsburys, chinese, indian etc. Parking in the station car park is free but can be difficult but there's plenty of parking opportunities by the nearby shops and roads. No ticket barriers at Dorridge. Good, reasonably priced connections to Birmingham, Leamington and Banbury.
