Good spot and a change from Doncaster.

Stainforth is a good place for photography and there are quite a few freight services to be seen. The station is a bit run-down and there are no facilities apart from the small town 10 mins away. Northern Spirit operate a frequent service through Stainforth. Classes usually consist of 56/60 and 66s on freight and 142/144/150/153/156 and 158s on the passenger trains.
