Catch a Greenford train (every 30 mins) out of Paddington and travel one stop out, going past Old Oak Common depot.
Excellent spot for Class 59 + 66 freight as well as all traffic in and out of Paddington.
The station is open and mostly un-manned with a couple of seats and a shelter.
Plenty of shops in Horn Lane (outside the station and turn right).
Opposite the station is 'Harry's Bar' - good place to spend 30mins for a sit-down meal - the food is good quality and reasonably priced, and the staff are very friendly !
