Halifax is the only place in the whole where you are delighted when a red shed comes. Which it does twice on a Monday at 10:30 and 18:20.
Otherwise as you see an endless variety of dmu combinations and liveries. In one hour you could see 10 dmus which are all different. I have seen the following:
Blue and yellow 142s. Yellow 142s and red 158s together. Red 144s. Blue 144s. 3+2 car 144s together. Blue 150s. Single 153s. Double 153s together. Red 155s. Blue 156s. Double 156s. Grey/red/blue/silver/green 158s. Double 158s.
Very, very occasionally when there is flooding in Morley, you also get diverted Trans-Pennine 185s diverted through Halifax!!
Talk about boring! If anyone wants to sit on a cold drizzly platform with the odd class 158 come here. My opinion, stay away.
